while i was originally going to buy one of the more expensive samsung sound bars, this one caught my eye for a reasons, easy setup, tons of free extras (part of a costco deal) and only $300 on sale (costco exclusive.) i figured that if the quality of sound or anything else was bad, i would return it and get a different q series. to my surprise, this bars audio quality was better then my friends $900 setup and is way less complicated. would i have paid full retail of $500 for this bar? maybe, but if you can find this setup, with the extra set of speakers thrown in, id say go for it.

overall a decent sound system. could use a larger subwoofer. depending on the program your watching it can either sound awesome to just average. if you have a true dolby sound source as in a movie, it can really sound awesome. where as a typical tv program can sometimes be rather dull. not the fault of this surround sound system. note: amazon fire stick 4k may not control volume.

this setup works perfectly w my samsung tv... easy setup...plug and play. movies are great. 14x20 room. ready to go, no extra stuff to purchase. setup time: 10-15 min.

i initially had issues for my samsung tv to detect audio using the hdmi cable and i was only getting sound from the optical after i updated to the lasted firmware everything worked fine, the process was very easy and i'm happy with my sorroud sound, dts is what's sounds best in my opinion

its a decent sound system but a bad firmware on current product makes sound skip 3-5 times every 30 mins. there is an update to the firmware but i haven't been able to update due to me largest issue that there is no compatibility with smart things. which i find very strange due to fact that on the product page on samsung's own site it lists it as one of its features. i just think with the purpose of being matched with samsungs hight cost q-led tvs and the price point it is strange not to have the compatibility.
