i had two different black friday orders for samsung speakerbars lost or delayed in transit so was happy to find this hw-a60m speaker on sale at my local walmart. the only time consuming thing about the setup was mounting the wall brackets and securing/hiding the wires. the speaker-tv setup was as simple as plugging in the optical cable and setting the tv sound output to optical. the subwoofer connected a few seconds after i plugged it in. sound quality is excellent for an affordable speaker package. the sub gives the audio a fullness that's definitely lacking from the tv's speakers. dialog is also a lot clearer. i have a 7.1 ht setup for serious movie watching, but this speaker bar is an excellent option for everything else.

overall the sound is good, but lacks volume needed for a good experience. if all you watch is news, you're probably good to go. we watch movies and music. lots of youtube concerts and performances, and we want to feel like we're there. this just doesn't deliver that. with volumes set to 99, we're sitting 8ft away, and can still talk over it. we'll stick with it for a day or two, but as of now, pretty sure it's headed back to the store.

i bought this a few hours ago and i'm going back to the store right now. 1. the bar doesn't turn on. it will only work (sound coming out) when i hard connect with the optical cable. 2. it won't pair via bluetooth. 3. the remote doesn't work, i tried multiple sets of batteries but volume doesn't respond, nothing responds. 4. i'm also thinking this is a new cheaper version because googling around i see nothing with this model number. maybe i got a bad unit but what i have is junk
