Bought this tv about 1 year ago. It developed lines on the screen that tech support couldn’t correct. They were unable to repair it and had no stock to replace it so they refunded the money I paid for the tv.

I added this 82 inch TV to our TV room after having a 60 in LG for the last few years. The picture is great for movies and just regular TV shows. I find myself looking for movies to watch to see how much better they'll look on this TV compared to my others. Overall, I am very happy with it so far. I like the fact that it has Netflix, Youtube and Amazon Prime TV already loaded onto it. The Samsung TV channels are a plus also. Ad free TV is always a good thing!

Bought the 82 inch Samsung TV from Costco. TV quality is good, tun on almost instaneously, (unlike the Sharp models I had, takes 1/2 a minute for screen to turn on.) Everything on the TV is good, ECXEPT the remote control. I wish it can go back to the old style with buttons so you can punch in the channel you like to watch directly. The new remote is so-called smart remote with voice control, and 1/2 the time it does not work. It has to connect to your wifi network before it can talk to your tv. Anyway, I find it very difficult to work with. Wish Samsung also include a simple traditional remote control in there.
