Not really worth the money

I bought the 65” Frame QLED to hang on our living room wall with a few other nicely framed photos. As a TV it’s pretty good but the glare is intense if your room has any windows, which of course our living room does. And the image mats or frames don’t really look natural under normal light compared to images next to it. And at night, when the light levels are lower, or with only normal room lighting, it glows too brightly. It looked better in a brightly lit store but not in a home, even with gallery style lighting. So it really doesn’t work in a supposed ‘gallery’ setting as described But what is more upsetting is the ridiculously small choice of images you can choose from for your photos. Yes you can pay An additional $20 for each image above the 20 or so to choose from but that feels like price gouging considering the cost of the TV. Loading your own images takes hours of online forum reading and then the tv crops them so they don’t fit full screen even if you choose one that is the correct aspect ratio. Horrible support and really poor choices and interface for the Art function. It’s a fine Samsung TV, but then you could just buy a fine Samsung TV with the Frame nonsense.
Excellent Tv with a difference

Not everything is as simple as the promotions make it appear. There is a black box that needs to go somewhere where there is an electrical outlet and a thin cable then needs to be attached to the TV. Just bought a new home and the previous owner had a 65" with electric outlet in the right place but can't use that one because of the flush mount bracket. The black box is now directly underneath in the basement ( lucky me I have a basement). Now it's mounted but off center on the wall because the stud is not centered on the wall. So much for my "Gallery" installation unless I rip out the sheetrock, place a cross brace betwen the studs, re-sheetrock, re-paint and re-hang "The Frame". A lot of installation complications that are not disclosed in the literature or by the retailer.
I would buy from Costo or Best Buy just in case...

We bought this TV on sale at the end of July to display proudly on our new fireplace. Unfortunately, our construction project has been a nightmare, so the TV stayed safely boxed and protected in a protected space. The box was in perfect condition with no marks, holes, or other indication that the contents might be damaged. I finally opened the box this weekend (Oct) to find the screen was damaged. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Samsung being passed between the warranty department: "sorry... not covered" and the sales department: "sorry... out of your return window". Looks like my only option would be to replace the TV at $1800. That's right, they didn't even offer us a discount on repairs or a new unit. I know Samsung can look to see that yesterday was the first time I turned this television on. I currently have 5 Samsung televisions in my house. I ordered this TV because I saw it at a friends and was impressed with the ART function. We were excited to have it as the centerpiece of our new remodel, and planned on ordering one for our bedroom and one for my office. In addition, I imagine several other people would see our new TV and consider one as well. It would be easy for Samsung to help me out, but instead they have lost a customer. I certainly understand that these policies are in place for a reason and that some customers try to take advantage. However, this seems like an obvious exception. I bought from Samsung.com instead of an unauthorized dealer so that I would have good support. My advice would be to buy from Best Buy or Costo so that you get the benefit of their return policy. These companies know how to take care of their customers. Samsung.com is a large, faceless, organization with seemingly no ability to help.
Rediculous

$20 for one image to show up on my tv screen? Are you kidding me?
