this surround system swa-9100s was recommended when i purchased a new tv and soundbar. the sound quality is nothing short of pathetic. being a fan of all things samsung only makes my disappointment that much deeper. i expect more from them. don't know if any of the other surround systems are any better, but at this point, it is doubtful i will ever purchase another sound system made by samsung

well i received these today to add to my new sound bar and our new samsung 50" smart tv. hooking up the tv was a breeze then the sound bar was a piece of cake. the wireless rear speakers well it took a little longer but they connected and i had a solid blue light. but mission control i have no sound. i went over everything and nothing. i have tried everything and still no sound. not a very happy camper right now.hopefully we can get this fixed and in all it is a totally nice system just need to get sound coming out of the rear speakers.

after a recent upgrade of sound system to the a650, i could hear what people were saying with out cranking it up. i decided to add the 9100s rear speakers to see if it made a difference and it really did. even opening theme music for a tv show is a whole different experience now. the sound is clear and all around me. sometimes i change the sound mode on the sound bar to find a better mix for the content i watch, but that only takes a few seconds. something i was watching last night had characters sliding past me on the left and right and i heard them go by. it was crazy. i loved it. when i first hooked up these speakers, very easy setup btw, i only had surround mode. i contacted samsung support and they walked me though a soundbar reset and all my options came back.

bought samsung's top-of-the-line soundbar, hw-q950a. comes with subwoofer and two rear speakers. connects to these just fine. but the rear speakers only come in poke-you-in-the-eye black. i want hidden speakers. sb is fine, but hide these two. i already have two rear in-wall speakers that are wired. so i bought this wireless system (toss the two micro speakers). after half-a-day trying to explain to the tech support, i get this response: "i am afraid to inform you that there are two rear speakers ps-ra95bb-1, ps-ra95bb-2 are only compatible with the sounbar. apart from those two, no other surrounding speakers can connect to the soundbar."
